    Anyone with experiences with one of these?
    What exact model did you have?
    Is it a good product @ that price?

    LoL, their laptops and desktops are overprice (way over price)
    You can easily built one of the exact model but with probably $1000 less

    If you actually buy those individual parts, you can build the same Alienware
    But then if you really want to show off the brand "Alienware" than I guess it's worth it

    Alienware notebooks are decently priced but their desktops are overpriced.

    I own an Alienware M5550.

    When I researched notebooks, AW was indeed a bit more expensive than it's competitors but they made up for it in customer service. I've purchased from many companies: IBM, HP, Dell. None of their customer service is quite on par with AW.

    i think "gaming" laptops aren't worth it cause the more powerful ones can qualify as desktop replacement and not really that portable cause battery life drains fast also, i would much rather get a similar equipped desktop for like less than half the price for gaming. for laptops i would just get a moderately equipped one that is cheap so you can upgrade every 2-3 years.
