started out well then confusing at the end...i guess it leaves me wanting to watch ep 2 Bobby looks thin here.
interesting story, i like time travel stories (bit like karma riders if you include the ending, without the foreseeing the future aspect), but: - circle (bobby) is wearing shades in dark places (the van where they monitor ppl, the warehouse), really? - phoenix (esther kwan) knows it's a trap, instead of calling the police for help, she goes in there alone, unarmed (not even a stick or something?) - TVB super advanced technology allows the police and reporters to zoom in without any loss of details (seems like TVB beat nokia's lumia 102 pureview technology)
> Time-travel dramas I'm ok with if they do it properly > Bobby wearing shades in dark places isn't a problem, a lot of people do it including myself sometimes > Phoenix going in unarmed.. ok i agree > Agree 200%. Wasn't the first time it happened. This and all previous, they can always zoom into pictures/videos without any detail loss -lol
I like it. Phoenix meaning the bird that recarnates good choice of a name. Since he is going to see her in 3 different lives like how he said it in his proposal. that he wishes to be with her for just 1000 years in 3 different lives. So he is going to go through 3 lives with her and then finally meet up with her in the current date and be with her =)
HAHA the part where Phoenix was watching/editing the clip of the guy shes interviewing and his call had a msg.. the clip clearly shows how BLURRY/pixelated and his hand was covering more then half the screen and yet when it was zoomed it, it magically became so clear like it was shot directly at it..
I swear to god i posted this before.. LOL. Did I forget to press post or something? Anyways.. here is what I wanted to say: Christine accent is so bad that she needed to be dubbed over? -lol
That's because TVB uses a special plug in that, with its secret awesomeness, is able to penetrate through any pixelation, no matter the degradation But seriously. Bobby? Zapped back to the Song? What's with TVB and the constant contemporary - period mix? Just about every other series now has some sort of "back to future" angle to it; it's like TVB wants to tell a period tale, but almost has to use contemporary situations just to get their point across. They're insulting their audiences; IMHO, you don't need to dumb down history in order to produce a show that modern audiences can enjoy.
Just watched first episode. Esther dies but it's Bobby's soul that leaves his body and travels back in time ? lol
Yeah first time he said BS, it was so funny! It's a bit like the movie Taken, the bit where the protagonist uses that phone booth thing and check the picture with the memory card and it zooms in to show the suspect. If only that was possible (TVB case) haha. Oh I didn't know that, sounds interesting! Yeah that was funny, every single scene, it was dubbed. It is her voice though is it not. I think it would be cheaper to just hire someone else to take her role instead of dubbing. That's when you know TVB wants to promote her as much as possible haha
I dont think that's her voice. I think it'll be weird if she dubbed over herself (though some actors dub over themselves sometimes.) And i dont think her Chinese is that great without the accent. LOL. Unless she comes back later in another time period with the accent maybe
Just speaking in general, but sometimes post production can call for a script rewrite for the dialogue of just select players, so that that particular character may have to reread the script to recording; if they're not available and a production is pressed for time, another voice actor may fill in.
