Amazon Japan has just revealed their half-year ranking for CDs and DVDs! The results were compiled based on sales between December 1st, 2010 and May 31st, 2011. Topping the list for CDs overall was Amuro Namie’s best collaboration album, “Checkmate!“, which went on sale on April 27th. The best-selling DVD for this period was Arashi’s live DVD, “ARASHI 10-11TOUR ‘Scene’ ~Kimi to Boku no Mite Iru Fukeiki~ [stadium]“. As for the other categories, “Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyougaku” took first place in the book ranking, while Luna Sea’s charity song “Promise” reigned supreme in MP3 sales.
