MBC Drama, 'My Name Is Kim Sam Soon' that starred Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bin is undergoing a Hollywood Remake. American Television network, NBC TV secured the rights to produce the remake as a prime time series. Korean movies such as 'Il Mare' 'My Sassy Girl' and others have undergone Hollywood remakes before but this will be the first time that a remake drama will be televised. Recently a NBC TV official visiting Korea revealed, "The preparation for My Name Is Kim Sam Soon remake is under way, the casting is in it's last phase, with the script and other things revised, the plan is to begin production as early as next year."
