Artists who attended included Miriam Yeung, Janice, Jill, Charles, Mark Lui, etc. Everybody took turns placing the incense and cutting the roasted pig hoping for success in the new year. Afterwards, they ate new years dinner ordering food with 'lucky' names. 'Foreigners' (Gwai Mui Jai) Janice and Jill were happiest when receiving lucky red pockets because Leon Lai, Miriam Yeung, and other executives were all giving out red pockets for the first day of work in the new year.
