ancestry roots

    after browsing through various threats, I found most Chinese here are from GuangDong province.
    I wanted to know which part of GuangDong are you/your parents/grands from.

    me:
    Father side:
    grandpa---Zhongshan中山县,
    grandma#1---Boluo博罗县 ( near to Huizhou惠州市, if anyone wants to know)
    grandma#2---KaiPing开平
    father---Zhongshan中山县,

    mother side:
    grandpa---guangzhou廣州,
    grandma---sanshui三水县
    mom---guangzhou廣州(moved to PanYu番禺县 later)

    most of my relatives, here in Canada are related by marriage and all are from Taishan台山县.

    It must be great feeling to know your roots , not to mention to have forefathers like yours must fill you with pride.

    my real ancentral roots(both parents):

    保安县- modern Shenzhen

    and partly in HK(a border town)
