Just what the original title says, When is the Android 2.2 software out?

But then I am living in the UK and have read up that Canada has already got the software out over there for them.

I'm just wondering if the UK can use it or will have to wait for end of October and being sods law that it will get postponed, like it was suppose to have been released at the end of September 2010?

Also, I have a Samsung Galaxy S, so I'm just wondering how will I have to go around updating the software? I hope it's not through the Samsung PC software because it doesn't recognise my phone?

Thanks but now the question is how to update it
(in the process of researching too!)

  6. if you can't update it via the update manager in the settings, you could download the update, and flash it.. but that's a bit more advanced

weren't you supposed to nab a bb today.

  15. ^ lol you got a damn good memory........... yea the dude didn't have them in stock, might get it sunday or monday

but i might resell it for a profit, cuz he's selling it dirt cheap... 2 bills for a bnib 9700, and redflagdeals users are asking 350, so i might sell my n1, and use that cash for an iphone, and an android/bb tablet

Aye. The 9700 is solid. My eye is on the torch and the galaxy tab.
As for the playbook, don't hold your breath.
Fucking device was rushed and no one has seen a physical representation yet. Late next year possible release.

Same device category-Tablet. Different features. Simply comes down to needs-functionality-features-apps.

To be honest, the lag problem isn't that bad!
Fair enough it does slow down when it's on some apps or when you download too much in one go, but overall the lag problem isn't really there unless you keep pressing the same buttons over and over to make it lag out-_-2
