It was "McDonald's World Children Day Concert 2008" the other night. Performing guests Andy Lau, Joey Yung, Eason Chan and Soft and Hard Heavenly Master (軟硬天師) were at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre. Andy brought Andox and Blackie out to start the show. Andy said "I consider them part of my family not manager. I am not worried if they are more popular than I. I want them to be popular too." Andy revealed that quite a few companies have asked them to do commercial. We haven't even discussed about the fees yet, they have refused to do it. Andy expressed that he wanted them to have a positive image first and than decide what next? At the moment, they appear in a lot of charity activities. Having said that Andy disclosed that he had accepted a commercial for household goods department store, but they only wanted the picture of Andox and Blackie and they are only doing the commercial for umbrella and book case. Andy has been very supportive of Ha Yu to win his "Best Actor Award" He hasn't got Ha Yu's telephone number, therefore he couldn't call to congratulate him. Andy disclosed that TVB had approached him to do some TV series a few times. "If I do TV series I would like "Idol drama" as long as they don't ask me to be a father. I want to be in "Hong Kong Style milk tea Prince" What is wrong with that?" Andy expressed that there is no discussion about "Idol drama" yet. Asked if he charged too much? Andy replied "Although the fees are high, anything can happen." Andy has never received any award from TVB before, he said "There are lots of award that I haven't received. dude .. you're freaking old .. not gonna expect to play prince charming right .. cuz ain't charming anymore ... money .. yes beside, as a professional actor, he should play a variety of roles; not limit himself to certain particular one.
Guess no one really wants to be portrayed as a father, cos its suggests the person is too old to play any other character.
