Andy Lau has returned to Guangzhou to perform his show after 6 years. He attracted over 40,000 audience members on the first night. Andy extended the length of the stage and had 3 new costumes specially made for this occasion. During the concert, a lot of the audience stood up countless times to watch him. The security guards had to constantly ask them to remain seated. Andy felt sorry for the audience, and urged them to be aware of the surroundings, so as not to block others' view and ensure safety is maintained. He also wanted them to enjoy themselves too. Andy Lau's "Wonderful World Tour Concert in China 2009" started its first leg in the Olympic Sport Center. The audience were ecstatic and screaming throughout the whole show. When Andy was dancing with the two dancers, the audience went crazy and gave them a big round of applause. Since the stage had been extended, the audience were able to have a closer look at Andy. He sang a few songs, including "Together Through the Days" (一起走過的日子), "Once Again I Love You" (再說一次我愛你) and "忘情水" etc. Andy was so thrilled when he was singing "忘情水", as all of the audience were singing with him.
