RTHK recently has a program Hong Kong action star? Yuan Class people as the program narrates the development of the Yuan Class people and their contribution to action films. After Sumo Hung, Yuen Qiu, Yuen Biao and Jackie Chan, next in line will be a “A lifetime affinity with movies” which is about Yuen De and Cory Yuen. When Michelle Yeoh was casted in Cory Yuen’s Yes, Madam! to become the new generation action actress, she revealed in the interview that Cory has a strict requirement during fighting scenes which requires beauty and good posture. Meanwhile, Cory also know what actions that you can do thus would not force you to prevent any injuries.

In addition, Andy Lau whom had collaborated with Yuen De and Cory Yuen in Saviour of the Soul and Saviour of the Soul II was also interviewed. In the program, Andy quipped that if he failed to do the actions required by Jackie Chan or Sumo Hung, he could have been given two slaps, thus under huge pressure. However Cory took a slow approach allowing actor to learn slowly. Andy remembers a scene in Saviour of the Soul which Aaron Kowk character have his eyes cut by flying dagger which leave him a deep impression. That time, Cory and Yuen De hope to have intersecting camera angles, putting the angle under a mirror, the mirror applied with oil. They also specially produce a dagger, dropping it tied with fishing wires, the dagger touches the oil will have vibration, under camera it would be like the dagger cut into the eye. Andy sing praise of them and full of creative as they created several classic movie scenes.
