Thursday March 22, 2007 Hong Kong On the stage, Andy held up 3 fingers vowing he will continue to work hard, never give up, whether the movie industry is up or down, he will persist and hopes to produce good result. On the award, he is very happy, as the result is computed by a reliable company after an investigation on the Asian box office, but he is not sure on the amount. Was he anxious speaking in English? He answered actually when he is outstation he uses English often, he is more relaxed overseas, in HK he has some pressure. This is the first time the box office is computed for Asia, actually recently total Asian box office almost equals that of Hollywood, so foreigners are taking note on the figures. Is he proud of the honor? He replied, "Of course happy, the award is like money, everyone keeps putting money into my money box, this award represents every ticket money." He feels box office is important, such as movies by his company, they may have good reviews, but box office is low, other than Crazy Stone, this is a good beginning.
