Damian Lau, Kathy Chow, Angela Tong, Toby Leung and Dominic Lam attended the blessing ceremony for the new TVB series (General Chai And Lady Balsam ). Toby Leung was constantly calling Angela Tong (mother). In the series Angela will play Toby's step mother but she personally rejected being called that. She laughed "Toby and myself have previously been in the series (Marriage of Inconvenience) fighting over Bobby Au Yeung. Now she suddenly becomes my daughter. In the series I will start of being a prostitute and I think that is better than portraying a mother. But in the end I married Dominic Lam and became Toby's step mother. Kathy said she had filmed the new series for over a month now. She was very happy working with the other actors, especially Damian Lau. The atmosphere is very fun. She also said she didn't have many outdoor scenes and most scenes were filmed in the studio. That's why the filming conditions were very comfortable. The series will finish filming around November. After that she will return to Mainland. When the reporter mentioned Gigi Lai announcing she was leaving the entertainment circle, Kathy asked the reporter why. She also appeared quite shocked. Kathy was asked if she had thought of leaving too? She said "I currently don't have those thoughts. Currently I enjoy filming drama's and going to different places. Even when I get married I will not retire from the industry. Mostly I would reduce my workload and choose work I personally enjoy doing. (Your boyfriend supports you working?) "He really supports me but does tell me not to work too hard". She also said originally when she finished filming (The Academy III) she was to return to Mainland China. But the Producer of the new series went to find her. She also felt the character Lady Balsam was a very good role and she was most fond of early Nationalist period drama's.
