Angelababy (楊穎) was rumored to have married boyfriend of 3 years, Huang Xiao Ming (黃曉明), in mainland China. Tabloids claimed that Angelababy and Xiao Ming’s marriage registration papers were discovered. At a promotional event yesterday, Angelababy denied that she had secretly married Xiao Ming, while issuing a public statement to set the record straight. Furthermore, Angelababy lashed out that the false marriage reports were defamatory. The tabloids’ so-called sources of information and ”evidence” were incorrect and false. Angelababy noted that she reserved the rights to legally pursue the matter. Allegedly, the ID number published on the marriage certificate in the tabloid did not belong to Angelababy. In the past, Angelababy had declared that she was still young and will focus on furthering her career, thus postponing marriage plans. Huang Xiao Ming’s manager also denied the marriage rumors, “Does anyone believe in this type of news? Xiao Ming’s mood has not been affected, continuing his regular work schedule.
