it never happened before, i think it started like last week, i saw ants crawling on the countertop, only a few. Then i started to notice more & more everyday, crawling on the wall, floor, near the stove, upper cabinets, in my parents' bedroom, today i saw several in the bathroom, WTF. One day when i got back home i suddenly saw a large group of them, sorta like a ant mafia thing, crawling aimlessly on the countertop~~~i literally stopped breathing for 3 sec LOL. Even today one crawled on my shoulder?! this is getting annoying but i guess im getting used to killing on average 10 - 15 ants everday any advice?
gota find out where the ants r comgin from and if they have a nest..prob the queen is in ur place hahahah...call pest control or something cause its so unsanitary to be having ants in ur place like that..it can get in ur food too if its crawling everywhere
clean your house lol. Any food on the ground or left out will attract them. You can buy some ant traps which work by having the ant workers carry poison food back to the queen, once she eats it and dies the entire colony usually follows suit. I had this problem once a few years ago. My parents went on vacation for a few days, and the day after they left i came home from work and noticed like 20 ants walking from the back of my house to like my front door... I set up the vacuum right at the front of the line and they all got sucked in. It was pretty amusing, but they kept coming, so i had to buy some traps. Also cleaned the whole house pretty thoroughly. They stopped after like 3-4 days.
Burn them with a lighter. Or use a lint roller. Or you can be boring and just spray the area with Raid.
maybe its a seasonal thing (i.e. weather)? it's happened to me quite a number of times. they might leave on their own after a while, but in the meantime RAID is your best friend.
it happened to me some months ago when i saw the big red ants at night when i was going to sleep in my room!!that was so scaryyyyyy,i did nothing because if i scare them,they will come again..in colony... the next day,i used an ant chalk
^i live on the 2nd FL that would be pretty hard lol now that reminds me.... i wiped everywhere w/ soap water, my mom put tray traps (she thought they were for cockroaches, how stupid, i mean pics of ants are on the box), doesn't really work i guess. threw away bags of food where ants "invaded in". clean spots...RAID is awesome, it smells good -______- still trying to find where they hide themselves.............think now they moved to the BR cuz i saw lots of them on my tub, wall, & floor. got lots of work to do for sure. one ant was carrying the dead body of its fd, i found that pretty amazing....
Just put those ant traps where the food are posionous and brings it to the colony and then they all get PWNED...
Yeah, you can buy liquid drops where you put several drops onto where ants hang aroudn the most, then they will start transfering the poison back to home base
Try to break their trails. You will see them going crazy. LOL Best is to clean the place and use Raid with lemon or vanilla scent. It smells better.
get a glass jar with lid, open it up, finger oil around the inner edge of the opening, add some sweet liquid in there, the ants will crawl in but can't come back out due to the oil, leave jar for couple hrs or a day u will see the ants inside, wash them out or kill them (do whatever u like), but best way is use the ant killer, the ants eat them, die and other ants eat the dead ants...killing the colony RAID is poisonous and it doesn't mean the lemon or vanilla scent is good for breathing it in either
