Any Other Safe + Cheap Payments Other Then Paypal?

Discussion in 'Random / Offtopic' started by hadouken, Sep 26, 2007.

  1. i wanted to send about a large amount of cash for a purchase from a seller but the person rejected it through paypal because he didn't know paypal takes 5.9% and only allows $500 to be recieved without a premium account. So does anyone here know of another alternative thats is safe or wouldn't take that much of a percent off the bill? Thanks

Im paying from canada to usd btw

Bidpay, safe for him but not for you though.

Where did you do this purchase tho? Sounds a bit fishy that as a seller he doesnt know paypal takes percentage.

    have u tried back transfer
may take a little more time but will not charge u 5.9 % of the amount of transfer
or send him a cashiers cheque
well i wouldnt recommend both ways
normally ppl will go through paypal i think since they can keep track of all transaction incase u got scammed

is it ebay ur buying stuff from, u should be careful mate

  4. i think i can trust the person and its not through ebay =P

bidpay do u know how much of a percentage they take?

  5. thanks any other alternatives would be nice

those are huge chunks for their amounts does anyone know the offical % they rob? i used to think it was USD to CDN conversions but now we are on par and they are still doing that while their conversion tool for the amount im paying says

    Exchange Rate:

    1 Canadian Dollar = 0.965916 U.S. Dollars

so he is a laywer than whats the problem, let him send it over and then pay afterwards by check.

just tell him he has the resources to get to you but not the other way around.

or go down to TX for a nice vacation between some rednecks...haha
