Currently I have these films to watch.. but I dunno where to begin. Apocalypto Babel Blood and Chocolate City of God Children of men Garfield Miss Potter Notes on a Scandal Perfume Step Up The Departed The Holiday The Illusionist The Last King Of Scotland Knoc sort of recommended Children of men.. but will still like to hear the opinion of others.. so I might have a gauge of what I should watch first.. and what can wait until I'm really bored. And do recommend any other good movies thats not in my limited list. Thanks!
I would start with the departed. It's one of the best movie in your list. .. and if u havnt seen Dejv Vu, then u should really watch it, very good movie. ..

I say start with the cream of the crop from the ones u listed: Apocalypto Babel Children of men The Departed The Last King Of Scotland Then hit the rest.
My order: Meaningful but kind of tiring (exhausting): Children of men The Last King Of Scotland Popular and worth seeing: The Illusionist Apocalypto City of God Popular but not really worth seeing: Perfume Step Up Garfield Blood and Chocolate The Holiday Depends on whether you like this type: The Departed -- Overrated. But I love Leonardo DiCarprio and Matt Damon so it was okay. Most may find the original Infernal Affairs better. Babel -- It's somewhat everrated (I anticipated it greatly, but it's kind of disappointing, perhaps I was expecting too much) Miss Potter -- Not a fan of Renee Zewellger, but it's a light film (not a big fan though) Notes on a Scandal -- I enjoy seeing both Cate Blanchette and Judi Dench, but if you don't, it may be a boring film.

I assume it's II. I preferred I. But its watchable. Totally predictable but awesome dance moves The Departed ---> I would go for Infernal Affairs (HK version) if u haven't watch it yet. Otherwise, go for it. I found it boring though, probably bcoz i knew the storyline. The Holiday ---> A great chick flick! The Illusionist ---> A good watch The Last King Of Scotland ---->No idea, haven't watch it Other movies I would recommend: 1. Pursuit of Happyness - heartwarming feel good movie 2. Gridiron gang - heartwarming feel good movie 3. Little Miss Sunshine - heartwarming feel good movie 4. Wild Hogs - Hilarious and entertaining 5. Freedom Writers - heartwarming feel good movie 6. Clerks II - Funny as hell
if you like action, watch "The Departed", but if you like drama and comedy, then watch "The Holiday".
Hmm.. guess I will watch Illusionist since many oithers recommended it too. As for O.. and I love Pursuit of Happyness.. not sure abt Wild Hogs though, looks kinda lame to me. Departed, still putting on hold cos I watched Infernal Affairs.. lo.. I also think its romance.. never heard anyone describe it as funny..
Jack Black wasn't funny in the show. If u wanna watch him funny, go for Tenacious D- The pick of Destiny! Wild Hogs, i find it hilarious... The jokes are not lame/corny and if u consider the actors... John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy & Tim Allen, it's worth it. Watch out for the 'lead singer' part. If u have watched Infernal Affairs, i guess u won't find the Departed that good. As i said i found it boring and almost all the scenes have the 'f' word lol. And oh yeah, in the Departed i think there's only one lead actress, i am not sure why they changed it. If i am not mistaken in HK version, Andy Lau had a different gf. (sammi) and Tony had Kelly the psychiatrist. In Departed, both of them went to bed with the psychiatrist which i found it lame.
They do... it's a completely different story if u fall for the same gal. That makes them enemies in love too and made the psychiatrist look like a slut.
