im thinking of getting one, i think 80GB is enough for me, but i hear the sound is low and i heard the batteries die after about a year (may not be true). if anybody has one or has used one please let us know what its like. thanks.
ipod batteries are always a problem but no worries if it dies after a year u still can claim your refund
my ipod battery seems fine. yeah the battery life starts to go down after a while but its still fine tbh. if ur that worried get it with a extended 3 year warranty. that way when the battery does become a problem u can get it replaced. besides the new ipod should have a longer battery life and it ain't too bad compared to other mp3s. music wise i don't find that the sound is too quiet.
The battery happened with my old 20GB ipod, but I know people that have the vid ipods before the classic and their batteries are still fine. However I would suggest you get the Nano over the Classic, unless you really need all that storage.
As long as you charge it when the battery is low or nearly empty, it should be fine. I heard they have good battery hours when watching videos.
im to scared to buy one now. i may have to look for an alternative but i need good storage, i got 4GB now i and i think i need 20GB minimum.
a year later, u'd probably go out and buy a new model, given that sooo many new models come out... seems a waste i know, but thats what usually ends up happening =/
ye ill have a look at them. i got a Samsung but Samsung seem to make small capacity mp3 player so i will have to leave them.
