Same goes for Wisconsin, and all the states controlled by Republicans. I would just love to ask the voters that voted Republican for the shift in 2010, how's the Republican's Contract with America working for him/her now? How's the tea party movement benefitting you now? This whole thing is
    1) transfer wealth from the middle class / poor to the rich
    2) to dumb down the population by increasing the cost of education; at the rate they are going, only the rich can get an education. Who can afford to get a higher ed?
    3) the top 5% controlling / enslaving the rest of the 95% of the population to work for them for cheap or pennies on the dollar. Without much education, what else can one do? With government machines transferring wealth from the poor working class (however little the poor are getting paid) to the rich in the form of taxes / tax cuts respectively, the working class might as well work for free for the top 5%.

It's a nice way of telling Americans that we're enslaving you. And yet, there are Republicans that are so covered by party flags that they are supporting these governors.

Or maybe a political move at the expense of the PEOPLE. Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Senator Fitzgerald in FOX News (Republican on Republican channel) on the reason for the battle ... Time : 0:10

It totally makes sense now. With the courts passing the law allowing corporations to donate to political candidates, GOPs are lining their political buddies (the rich) pockets now and during the election campaign, they will get the money back. And killing the unions kills the source of funding for DEMs. EXCELLENT JOB, Senator Fitzgerald and thank you for admitting to it.

Your summary is pretty accurate. This is some crafty ass political maneuvering. Unions are the biggest democratic supporters, without Unions the democrats have much less staying power.

I'd point out that democrats can't exactly wash their hands clean of all this, they are deep in the pockets of many corporations as well.

The fact the United States is essentially a two party system limits voting options so much... do you vote for the bad guys? or do you vote for the slightly less bad guys? If you're rich you'll vote for the first option. And because the rich control all the media in the country, anyone who is uneducated will be tricked into voting that way as well.
