I was once in a relationship with this one girl but we slowly fell apart, and now, we just kinda ignore each other. This happened about a few months ago, and the thought just hit me yesterday when I saw her hanging out with a few of her friends. She saw me and I saw her, but we just acted as if we didn't know each other. I just kept on walking, and she just kept on talking and laughing with her friends. She acts like nothing has happened and everything is normal. I don't feel much towards her anymore, but just out of curiosity, are all girls just able to throw away a deep relationship that easily? And also, what do girls usually think about after a relationship problem? Do they start going after other guys to make themselves feel better?
Everyone reacts differently. some people like to go out with their friends to get their mind off things while others keep quite. Laughing and having a good time doesn't mean that they are happy deep inside. a lot of people do take a long time to get over a strong relationship, but there are expections. it really depends on how you guys fell apart. going out with others people doesn't mean they are trying to make themselves better, it could also mean that they don't want their family or other friends worry about them.
Here's one thing... Most girls will hold on to a relationship until she realizes that there is nothing left to it. Being that you may have had relationship problems with the girl, by the time it was all said and done, she was probably over the relationship already. For me, most of the time when I break up with a guy, I'm already over the relationship. I've given the guys many opportunities to make it right, but most of them take advantage of the fact that the girl will stay... until she ultimately leaves. For guys, they are not over the relationship yet when it's over... for most girls, they are over the relationship, if they're the ones who break up, before it's really over. Anyway, you said that you no longer have any feelings for this girl, so whether or not she still likes you shouldn't really be an issue, if you don't like her at all.

They alway ignore you after the breakup. Cant chatter like old time friends anymore once everything is over. Quite sad.
