I really wanted tt get into this series. To have an undersatnding of hong Kong's past, and ultimately to see how hong kong has been formed into what we see today. Trying to sustain my concentration however, was to say the least challenging. In the end i stopped watching after a few episodes. This wasn'nt because of the content. Simply, the picture quality and sound was so dreadful that it marred the archive footage, narration and the contribution from experts. Despite this, I appreciate the time and effort of the uploader.

Before this thread, I read an article that said no one has written a book on the history of HK yet. So when I saw this thread, I was REALLY excited. I am probably the oldest Popular Asian here and I grew up in HK. I live in the U.S. now (and in a place I can't get Chinese TV so this site is a lifesaver!) and am grateful to watch this show and revisit HK. The video can definitely be better, but the audio is ok to me, although I had hoped this would be history in chronological order. These episodes are actually by topic. If anyone is interested in the index of these episodes by topic, I can post it and upload corresponding ddl too. Thank you ma123456 for uploading this program.
the only reason why im doing this because i wanna give back..........i been watchin tvb as growin up in da state n my parents always speakin chinese too me ;] i feel how all the ABC's or not when u wanna watch a show but dont know where too get it but i was lucky i had a guide too show me where too click in the chinese site lol i nver been too hk heard the food was good i probly go soon...im glad we have a good site like asian popular where we can get anything we want (or try too) with fast responds too keep da good work guyz n gurlz ;]

Appreciate any assistance, or even words of encouragement would be helpful at this point, LOL... :biggthumpup: Addendum: Never mind, I was able to DL from the DDL link above (as provided by lindaabc123, Thx Linda!), and taking out the files from there, augmented and completed the DL to 100%.
