    Yooo !

it has been a while.... :D

i have few questions about aussi, hope some ppl from aussi can help me :D

i recently applied to an exchange programm to Australia (hope i can get a place there).
i really want to go to aussi, especially during my winter semester, which is summer there. but i heard there are lots of dangerous animals, like those venomous spiders, snakes, box jellyfish etc... i mean... they are extremely dangerous!?

how often do u encounter a funnel-web spiders in your home?
what about sharks ?? jellyfish?? (if you plan to go on a beach)
what do u do if u got bitten by a venomous animal (e.g. snake, spiders,...)?

    thanks !

If you end up in the outback then its quite high, but so far I haven't met any other than at the zoo

    its aussie :p

well i guess depends where abouts u get placed in aus. cos its a pretty big country and there's so quite a few big cities.

umm tbh, chances of running into venomous spiders is really small. Even if you live in a run down apartment... you'll probably only come across normal house spiders.

sharks n jellyfish.. well as long a you go to patrolled beaches and swim between the yellow n red flags u shud be fine. shark attacks are quite rare; but i do have mates that go surfing n that,.. that do get bitten by blue bottle jellyfish - nothing dangerous- just a couple of nasty rashes for a week or so.

haha if u get bitten by venemous animals... try n kill it or describe what it looks like to the hospital so they can give you the right anti-venom for it

tbhhh u wont encounter much of these animals, even if you are staying in the outback.... and if u do come acrooss any snakes n that.. just leave it alone. ive only encountered one snake in the outback.. and we just left it alone

haha...how people view australia, seriously the chances of facing any of those is really slim, unless you go deep into the habitat doing some man vs wild shit.

More chance of you getting killed by the sun than a bite from something venomous

  7. As the other guys have said, you probably won't encounter them much.. the only thing to look out for is red-back spiders in an around the home.. othere than that you'll be fine.

which part of Oz are you going to?
