Ayumi Hamasaki to sing theme song for Hollywood's Dragonball Film

    TOKYO --Ayumi Hamasaki, 30, will sing the theme song for Hollywood film "Dragonball Evolution" which is based on Japan's popular manga "Dragonball" series. Hamasaki will release an original song, "Rule," for the live-action version film which will be released in Japan on March 13. The release date for the song will be announced later.

    Hamasaki will perform the song in Japanese and it will be used in every local version of the film in more than 60 countries. In an official comment, Hamasaki said, "I hope both old and new fans of 'Dragonball' throughout the world will enjoy the film."

    I think it's gonna be alrite. Just another film that will mess up the originals. I jsut couldnt wait to hear her voice in the big screen....

    i like her music, look forward to it. As for the film, well i aint looking for to that ^^ gonna be crap judging from the trailer ............ ah well, should be amusing to watch ~

    i would assume the single would be release to coincide with the film during the hype for full media exposure to rake in the money

    the movie is a FAT TURKEY and she is gona be associated with it.

    she needs to read up on what she is singing for

    i rather watch Street Fighter the movie and thats looooooooooow

    ^movies like disaster movie/ superhero movie and other shit makes money soo this is definitely gonna make money lol.

    anyways cannot rate this one until it comes out, it looks to be the biggest fail US live action anime (not to mention one of the classics) but it might be a surprise okay flick, below average but not a disaster.

    this movie's gonna suck ass. i understand that they have to use a white dude as goku since goku since it's an american remake but they could have picked someone a little more muscular or made the guy work out more. the dude looks like a total wuss.

    oh and i hate how they put it in chinese people or any other asian ethnicity and try to pass them as japanese to the general public haha.

    the only anime/manga remakes i'm looking forward to are Akira and Oldboy.

    @ takashi I'm not looking forward to what hollywood does to Oldboy, i cant see it being very good unless they hire an all star cast. I'd rather not see good japanese movies raped by hollywood

    Yay~ I want to hear her sing for Dragonball!!! That'll be interesting... She's so pretty O_O

    But... it's gonna look really weird with people... >_< I really hope that they won't mess it up THAT much hahaha I saw the trailer and I was laughing my head off
