  3. go with bitcomet, it works just like azureus now, plus it's a bit more user friendly in my opinion. I got both so it don't really matter to me. Take some time to find one that you like, if ya new to using bt.

The only problem with bitcomet/bitlord is that some trackers won't let you connect, but it's only a few, and they aren't that great anyway. You could just use the regular bt download gui for those.

i use azureus and i admit im a bit of a n00b when it comes to torrents
however, i set it up just fine and i love it
it sorta does kill your memory but the features make up for it

  13. I like how you can limit the amount of speed you use with azureus... but some other lil things make it bad to use. Bitcomet.. aka BitVomit... has its good and bad features...

I recommend utorrent. :D it uses very little resources compared to other bt clients.

I've tested like 7 different bittorrent clients.
uTorrent was far the best one.

    Because:
uTorrent is only 150 kb big
It only uses 4 mb ram when downloading a 2 GB torrent (Azureus 50+ mb)
It has all the usefull features like rss and DHT(downloading while tracker is offline)

Azureus uses java virtual machine and can be quite intensive on older and slower computers. Azureus is a very good torrent client because of its huge collection of plugins/addons and works well if you have a dedicated machine just for it.

If however for instance you want to play your games while still downloading then I recommend utorrent.
