Hello! My name is Barry Lui. Im 14 and I live in New York City. I've abandoned most of my Asian background and I've become extremely Americanized. Living with my EXTREMELY Asian family has made me hate most of Asian Culture. I still do eat Chinese food and watch Chinese series/dramas with my grandma, which is why I'm here. I guess you could say I'm "white". My hobbies include Track and Field, Basketball and Chilling with Friends I like any kind of music as long as its not country. I prefer Alternative and Rock though. ^dont mind his ass anyway, welcome... so tell me, how did ur extremely asian family make u hates u hate the culture... i dont think ur that americanized since u still watch series which means u can at least speak canto no? either way.... its always good to value ur roots...cuz it makes u who n what u really are.... u might appreciate it later...
Like I said before I only eat chinese food. I only watch some chinese shows because when I'm at my grandmas house theres nothing to do but watch dramas. I can speak communicate with my family with ease in cantonese but when I watch the shows I get confused. For example in Twin of brothers I was lost for a bout a whole episode. They just kept talking and talking then they just randomly went to war. It was reallly crazy.
