    Oh snap.

HD gets a big deal and here comes Blu-Ray making one of their own.

I might just have to buy a blu-ray player now -shock

    ^^ Go for it dann

But I'm kinda of sad that I gotta spend more money for my HD movies now :(. Oh at least I don't have to be scared of the format I picking ending up to be obsolete. But who knows maybe Toshiba will bounce back. MAYBE -lol

Think I'll wait it out to see who wins over the majority before I buy anything of either. Would be gutted if I ended up buying something and then it dies a month later, especially seeing as my finances are not exactly great at the moment!

I honestly don't see HD coming back from this. Losing support from Warner is a HUGE blow. Bigger than the deal they had with paramount.

    HD is already dead.

new line has also said they are only making one more HD-DVD then are switching to blu-ray.

I'm so glad that I did not buy a new dvd player. Would have been a waste of money if I had bought the HD-DVD player. -sweat
