Im planning to get a book for a special person and i was wondering if someone knows any books that will tell u about beautiful stories short stories or a book that u think shows how much u love the world. Like stories that will make u smile or stories that will make u realise how much u love the world ^^. Or even a book that describes the world in pictures or something. Maybe a book that some of u think would be really suited as a birthday present.
At first when I read the title I was like "Okay... slightly gay" haha but now that I know it's a present: I don't really read books in this genre I'm mainly into all those fighting books and stuff... hmm the closest book I read that made me think of the world is "oh the places you'll go" by Dr seuss haha but I dont think thats what your looking for aye? Anyways you can always try the Holy Bible.. It seems to have done things for thousands of years
No religion stuff >_<. I want like short stories that makes u think and smile or cry. Something that u dont read everyday but should.

I would say subscription of magazines. I just subscribed my friend travel magazines. In it, it has 20 good tips, short and funny stories that travelers experience, and promotion trips package of the month. I always use these magazines for my vacation every year. I strongly recommend them.
Try Marley and Me by John Grogan. It's about the author's life with a dog that is a bit uncontrollable. It makes me smile and sad. Overall a good book if the 'special person' you have in mind is a dog lover.
