Saturday July 8, 2006 Hong Kong The ratings for TVB program Beautiful Cooking has been continuing to rase. But there was an individual that sued the program for having a girl to cut a fish and needed the host's help. That individual thought that it would increase the pain on the animals and torture the them. The program producer replied to this complaint through a phone call, "I have already paid great attention to this. We will not let the guest torture the animals. Moms cooking fish in the kitchen would also be like this. In fact there is chef to instruct you on the scene. If the guests can't do it, the chef and hosts will immediately help. i knew this would happen soon, is just bad how they treat the animals tho, very disgusting. they should have killed it before hand, more humane
haha, i knew ittt!! i like the show, because if its dead, then its not funny anymore because dude its dead, they're not scared to touch it but watching those animals die so painfully...LOL..its sad..but oh welllllllllllllll...just hope they dont cancel it
yeh well how would you lie it if urs the fish, u coudve died fast and "less" apinful, but uve got a celeb that dont know what they are doing and making u die painfuly. which one would you choose die ast and less ainful or v painful and long? dont get me wrong, i lve this show, but i just think they could use a ead animal, so atleast they didnt suffer too much
ok then, so basically ur saying for example, ur the animal, u wouldnt mind if the person thats killing u is slowy cutting u up and cutting away each organ frm ur body slowly and painfully were ass u could be killed with one cut which would be fast and painless? true that they would die anyway, but its the fact of how they die
lol quit trying to be an animalistsis.... I mean there's about billions of fishes in the ocean and your unlucky ass happend to get pickd up... then it's fate..!! you were suppose to die to nourish the human being that's gonna contribute to society....
lol you guys need to think its not that killing fishes etc is the problem but its BROADCASTING the death of these animals on Televison for millions to see and not all are meat eaters (many are vegatarians or animalist) and might be offended by this....for god sakes chinese people kill / eat anything that moves so im sure that isnt the problem....the main problem is that they are killing these animals on televison.
i second to that, may i add, the problem is they are brocasting the killing for peoples entertainment, they are inflicting pain another "fellow " animal for your entertainment lower your head in shame -____-' >.<
Yeh i can remember how some of them dunno how to kill the animals first, looks really painful for the animal. But in the end im sure its no worse than what people do in the kitchen, dam hippies. yeh but in chinese culture its quite normal to kill fresh animals. This is like in the UK where a program showed turkeys being electricuted to death so they could be eated. It was quite horrific, but in the end thats how it is. I mean fish and stuff dont automatically come in plastic packages, skinned and sliced do they. Its just showing reality I guess its a little shocking to see, but in the end the people who dont like it, just shouldnt watch the show.
