    love ancient series.... but the "gong-wu" ones....which TVB obviously wouldnt make no more....

    I gave the series 1.5 episodes due to the great cast. But honestly not my genre and it will end up as a waste of HD space. Think i might stop.

    Wanted to give up after ep 1 but struggled on. Made it up to middle of ep 5 but really couldn't go on anymore. Very slow moving and boring plot. What a waste of the great cast!

    I dunno why they even filmed this one it's so boring and dull to watch. Just not worth my time to watch this series.

    I watched the entire series and I can say that this series has to be one of the most disappointing series ever. I liked War and Beauty so I had high hopes for this "sequel" and it was not even close. I don't know what they were trying to say but even though I am a little tired of watching the typical palace scheming series, I would rather watch 5 palace scheming series than this series. I thought the only actor who did a good job was Ada even Sheren was not as great but I put the blame on her character. In the original Sheren was powerful yet vulnerable which made it entertaining to watch but in this series, her character is half the woman she was in War and Beauty. The quality of acting of the supporting cast wasn't great and I mean some of the actors they picked is downright laughable. The biggest problem was the story, it seemed like it didn't know what it wanted to say. I watched the sales presentation and wonder what happened? That was interesting, this was dull and boring. End of rant.
