At a radio show to promote her new Viu TV drama Margaret and David – Green Bean <瑪嘉烈與大衛系列綠豆>, Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) said she has gotten very jaded with having to clarify rumors over and over again. A while back, the actress was spotted at a friendly dinner with businessman Daniel Sit (薛世恆), Fala Chen’s (陳法拉) ex-husband. The tabloids went straight into claiming that the two were seeing each other. When this rumor was brought up during the show, Bernice seemed hesitant to talk about it. She said that by talking more about it, more misunderstandings would arise. Nonetheless, she said that she hasn’t seen nor contacted Daniel Sit in a while, as she’s been out of town the past few months. She is also not aware of his rumors with Oceane Zhu (朱璇); however, she said it is very common for people in the entertainment industry to have mutual friends. Margaret and David is Bernice’s first Hong Kong drama in four years. On the show, she has a passionate love affair with Gregory Wong (王宗堯), and is also romantically linked with Bowie Lam (林保怡). “I’ve never come across such complicated love relationships before,” she said with a laugh.
