Wednesday December 05, 2007 Hong Kong Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) took part in a promotional event for the Santa's Grotto at Pacific Place in Admiralty. She was joined by Santa Claus, who had flown in especially, not from Lapland, but from Canada and she fulfilled her childhood wish of sharing a dance and a hug with Santa. Bernice revealed that when she was in Canada, she lived in a small town and every year, she would take a train to seek Father Christmas and write down her wishes on a card, hoping that he will bring her Barbie dolls and toy stables. She also told of how she only found out the truth about Santa when she was an adult, but she will keep many happy memories of her imagination as a child. For Christmas this year, Bernice will be preparing many gifts for her friends and family and she will also be releasing a special book about her five beloved dogs, with the proceeds being donated to a children's charity.
