Tuesday November 13, 2007 Hong Kong Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) was invited to attend a promotional event for Swiss Life Skin Products today, where she was lent a pearl necklace to wear that was worth HK$800,000. Bernice was also presented with a jar of the skin product in a limited edition bottle worth HK$2800. The product's creator is Prince Michael Massalsky, a Russian prince and descendent of the traditional royal family. He seemed to get on very well with Bernice at the event as they posed for photographs and shared deep conversation. Afterwards, Bernice said that she did not realise he was a prince and said he found her to have a good image, beautiful skin and a lovely smile, so he invited her to the event and this made her very happy. Talking of the value of her necklace, Bernice said that she did buy herself a black pearl when she was on holiday in Australia and with the TVB anniversary approaching, she will soon be going shopping for her outfit and jewellery. There have been reports recently showing Bernice's father and assistant out shopping, suggesting that he was buying red wine for her to celebrate with rumoured boyfriend Moses Chan (陳豪) after he wins the TVB best actor award. Asked about this, Bernice said she found the report very amusing because neither she nor Moses were present on that day and her father was actually buying dog food. She added that she could not stop laughing when she saw the report.
