For those of you who are looking to buy a new pair of headphones/earphones, here's a short list of headphones to buy. These head/earphones made it on to the list because of their excellent sound quality at low prices.

    $18 Panasonic RP HJE300
    $12-20 JVC Marshmallow (HA-FX33)

    $20 - $40 USD:
    $21-30 JVC Air Cushion (HA-FX66)
    $40 Yuin PK3

    $50+ USD:
    $50 Jays J-Jays
    $53 Sennheiser CX300
    $60 Panasonic RP-HJE500
    $70 Yuin PK2
    $70 Grado SR-60
    $70 AKG K81DJ

Grado SR60's - $70 easily beats everything on that list =P

Heh, you can always buy another pair :D
I have 2 pair of cans and a pair of IEM.

How's the sound quality on those? The head/earphones on the list are there because their sound quality is superb for the price.

I got the wrong model number lol

They are the Creative EP 630. I have them and the Sennheiser CX300 and from what I have listened too, the Creative EP 630 are sound a fair bit better. The EP 630 is cheaper in Australia and I'm pretty sure they would be too in the US

Added the pair of Creative on the list.

Cans are full sized headphones, like the one on my avatar.

-lol the SR-60 and SR-80 are considered "entry level" cans. My Sennheiser HD580 are mid range cans. The top end gear are extremely expensive.

  12. ^ lol thats why im digging the entry levels cuz they the cheapest!

like i said, i got no money even for the entries lol

-lol It's best not to start. It easily becomes an addiction. You start with the entry level and you slowly work your way up.

I started with the HD555 by Sennheiser thinking I would stop there. Boy I could not be more wrong. Within a months time, I upgraded to the HD580, bought an amp, some custom made cables, and modified my HD580.

  14. too late.

started with shitty zen micro earphones, moved to itunes' shitty piece of crap, moved to some shitty 15 bucks head phone, moved to my dad's uber-awesome phillips headphone from the 1980s, was the best thing i ever used considering it was 150 bucks, which i unfortunately broke :'(, moved on to some other phillips headphones which were fine for travelling, and still using, also have some wireless jvc ones which i obviously cant wear outdoors. im digging on this panasonic ones that look damn retro... has some ok specs to it...

    7-22 or 28 khz, 105 db, 35-40 ohms i think...

thanks for putting up the info for the headphones. I am in the mids of looking for a pair. I was going to go with seinheiser but now maybe just the JVC jbuds sounds good for the price.

  16. man. i have a pair of panasonic rookie level that has served me well sound-wise, and as earmuffs.

but now i need a cheap pair of earphones for my starcraft gaming. =(

kontradictions is right. it escalates into an addiction.

^talking about wireless anyone know if like bluettooth connected headphones affect the overall output of the sound/ quality and such cause that technology is in alot of mp3 players now. and damn still want those marshmallows and regretting the headphones i bought....don't ever buy skull candy in ears if you want $20 in-ear headphones guys, not too good.
