Best FPS (PC or Cosole)

Since I am waiting for Killzone 2 to come out this question popped into my mined. What is the best/favorite FPS?

For me the fun factor is on Call of Duty 4 and Halo, but if I had to choose one as a favorite it would be Call of Duty 4.

So let's hear what you guys have to say. (Please don't say CS, I have heard that enough from my friends...lol)

 

For me, it depends on the genre.

each genre has it's good FPS game.

but in terms of overall, pc or console, call of duty series got my vote.

 

Crysis is one of the best FPS i played

 

COD4

Although limited in online community features like Halo. Its still way more fun to play.

interestingly enough, that's one game i'd rather not play..

granted it has nice graphics, but that's about it. i find it has no substance.

 

yea crysis is all about the graphics, stick with cod4 for now

Warrock and call of duty 4 those are the best fps online i played

 

Warrock was the best fps i played but there were to many laggers so i stopped playing >.>

 

Left 4 Dead is so fun.

 

Battlefield 1942 back in the day, remember spending every Sunday networking on that game good times ~

 

I'd say F.E.A.R 1 & 2. i watched my friends play both on ps3 and pc. =P

 

F.E.A.R. that game is seriously scary >.<

Agreed. Crysis is nothing more than eye candy.

It's hard to decide which FPS is the best mainly because there's so many. However, I find myself playing Counter-Strike: Source more frequently than any other FPS.

 

Battlefield 2!!

 

Haven't got a favourite but out of the more recent releases, COD4 is worth a mention...
