whats the best type of bagged tea to make milk tea?....of the choices of course....unless you can suggest something else
Orange Pekoe is the type I use... But I've heard people who use Orange Pekoe with some "Pu'er" (普洱) loose leaves...
I didn't know there was yellow and orange tea...haha But I definitely know you don't drink green tea with milk
Either orange or red tea will make the best milk tea. I don't think anyone really uses green tea to make milk tea though.
hmmm sorry... enlighten me here... what are orang n yellow tea?? well.. i guess i need lessons with tea drinking.. i only know there was.. green... red.. and black.... oh.. i think earl grey would be nice for milk tea.. hehehe n plus a little lavender... yumm
I don't think orange tea exist... although yellow tea is a type of specialty tea, And junshan Yinzhen (君山银针) is one such tea... If one categorize tea by colour, there are quite a few: Red tea, Green tea, Black tea, White tea, Yellow tea and Oolong tea (qingcha 青茶) which are semi-oxidized tea... Never heard of orange tea though... Seriously. Would it be like the colour of the package from Twining??? -lol
hmmm correct me if i m wrong... red tea's are english tea rite? my mum calls english (western) tea.. hung cha.. (english like-->english morning breakfast...irish breakfast...ceylon...earl grey...) yes ? no?
a dark dark red tea with some milk makes the best milk tea imho...or if u don't have good red tea using 3 lipton tea bags works pretty good too hehe green tea with honey tastes good also
cool, i'll try it.....the green tea is lipton is was on sale lol....2$ for 100......so i'll play around with that for awhile lol
^LOL! well, you can try to add milk to it and tell us what it taste like. -lol In my opinion, the best tea to make milk tea would be the 'English Tea' (Twinnings or similar brands)
Whoa...3 bags? Wouldn't that keep you awake for a couple of days? -sweat Haha...but some would claim no effect, I guess
