Well, I already started a build, this computer will be just for regular use, nothing extreme, just want a standard video card that can play videos better or some light gaming.. Budget is $50 USD Here's a screenshot of the spec
Go to the shop or online store and get the Radeon that's closest to $50 or the Nvidea that is closest to $50. Its ultra budget GPU's so dont worry about it to much.
Yea, but I'm still trying to save money. I see online.. 8600 GT for $18 after rebate+coupon.. I see lots of 9400-9500GT for $30-$40 after rebate also.. I don't know which one would be better for my budget?
if thats your budget maybe you should spend it on food unless you really are building cheap comps for friends and charging lots of dola...
This is a personal build -_-2 I just want a graphics card instead of using onboard video.. and I want HDMI output since all my monitors(TV) has hdmi..
Here you go: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-310-5970,2491-2.html So buy a Radeon HD 4650. Btw, isn't 64-bit OS a bit of an overkill for 1GB of RAM ? Unless you are planning to expand RAM in the future as well.
About 50 USD according to the link I provided. A quick look on pricewatch.com shows that Amazon has it just below 50 dollars, but it's temporarily sold out. I'm sure you can find some good deals there in the US, so shop arround.
I look on newegg usually... I've been looking for a good deal on video cards. I thinking I might want to try out Nvidia video cards since this is a Nvidia mobo..
It shouldn't matter which brand you choose for your graphics card. Your motherboard is MSI with an integrated graphics chip of NVidia. If you were planning to use 2 graphics cards (SLI for NVidia or Crossfire for AMD/ATI), then it would have mattered depending which one your motherboard supports. Anyway, according to Tom's Hardware the HD4650 is the best you can get for $50. So that kind of answers your question. If you want to go with something else though, then it's up to you
