Not really sure if I should be posting it here, but as most of you have heard the Big Bang T-shirts and hoodies at Uniqlo were only sold in Japan. But for all the people who live in New York, they started selling the shirts and hoodies at the store in Soho and it looks like it's pretty much a limited run, so for all those fans who want those shirts and hoodies should stop by to grab them before they are gone. The hoodies and T-shirts are not shown on their website and I don't think they will update for it too since it was like a small part of the store that had the shirts and there wasn't even a Big Bang poster or anything. Not sure if any other stores will carry them, but probably have to call the store closes to you and see if they are getting shipments. Went there today around store open time and grabbed two hoodies myself already.
I like their clothing and style. Their going to open a big store in New York by Fall. I was told by a NY ad agency I wish they had a store here in Boston too. Their website is kind of weird to navigate.
i'm from nyc...freaking disappointed they ran out of those heat tech tee shirts...damn as for big bang tee shirts at the soho location...when did you see them? i was there over the weekend...found some japanese anime tee shirts (ghost in the shell, etc.) on the 2nd floor...didnt see any big bang tees, tho
Uniqlo just started selling them yesterday, along with the new One Peace, Naruto, Dragonball T-shirts. It's near the doors on the main level. Walk in on the left side and it's there.
uniqlo is like the equivalent of old navy in america. cheap and bland looking clothes with decent quality. i heard they are way overpriced in the states.
Big Bang is the boy band from Korea. They recently collaborated with Uniqlo to release limited edition t-shirts and hoodies since they were having concerts all over Japan. The clothing line was suppose to be limited in Japan, but apparently they are selling it here in the Store in Soho, New York City. I think there are only 5 stores in United States right now, so I'm not sure if they will carry them in any of the other 4. As much as pricing goes, I think they target competition is Banana Republic as they sell similar clothing at lower prices. I do agree that some of the styles are pretty bland because basically it's the same shirt but in lots of different shades of color, but pricing wise it's a lot lower. I don't think it's overpriced also and their quality really good.
i meant theyre overpriced compared to the uniqlos in japan, just like the gaps are overpriced in japan and vice versa. i dont know how much they cost in the states, but in japan, their prices, style, and quality are comparable to old navy.
Well, I'm certainly not as happy as everyone else about their opening in NY. My kids have always been slaves to fashion except it's always with Daddy's money. For me, this is going to be just another one of my kid's opportunity for frivolous expense... <sigh>
Their stuff isn't overpriced here. Twenty bucks a tee? If anything, Uniqlo is more like H&M, not old navy. The material isnt' great but they look good and trendy enough to rock in public. Old navy has crap. You'll never find anything like this at Old Navy anyway.
UK uniqlo is selling them online right now.. for about.. £12.99. which is ,..yeh about the same price as 20 USdollars. not that expensive compared to most UK high street shopping.
