An event for the release of Big Bang’s Japanese major first single ‘My Heaven’ was ended abruptly after 5 minutes in front of 2000 fans. They were at Tokyo Aoumi Business port church compound for the single release event on 24th June but 2,000 fans turned when the compound can only accommodate for 400 fans. So in the end, for safety purpose, the event was called off after 5 minutes. This was described as ‘big panick’ by local newspaper, and the boys’ popularity in Japan can be clearly seen from this event. The event was meant to start at 5.30pm but from early morning, there has been fans waiting at the venue. After the event having to be called off after 5 minutes, Big Bang members did a short interview in their rest room. TaeYang said, “We are really sorry for fans who waited.” GDragon said, “It is a pity for this event. We promise that there will be other opportunities to meet.” SeungRi also said, “We were still thinking about how to carry out the event well.” The boys’ Japanese debut song ‘My Heaven’ went to #4 on Oricon chart on the day it is released, and they will also be releasing a 2nd single ‘Gara Gara GO’ on 8th July.
