Hello everybody. I was just wondering what is the fastest bit torrent client. Currently I use Bitcomet with Comcast 6 megs cable connection and i get about 20-70 on a download but my friend says his bit torrent can download the same file bit in the 200-400 s
it all depends on seeds and connection or perhaps ur using a router .... nothin to do wiv the program
if i can find that thread that summed up peeps opinions on what we use...argh..that gives a nice roudnup of what ppl here use and their opinions...hmph...
depend on what router you use... u might have to change setting from your router to optiumze the speed of your internet... the 1 i use to use was netgear and i had to fix the PPoP to allow my CS:S to make a server... Btw, I use BitComet
o really? sounds complicated! I use a linksys WRT54G. I know how to get into the settings but dont know what to change
I don't think there is any single "race car torrent client" out there. The biggest issue is finding a well seeded torrent with may people sharing more than 5KB/s. My normal max on a torrent is 15KB/s, normal direct download is 600KB/s!
^ really... i usually get around 350kb/s with new torrent using bell sympatico... and around 50-100 with like 3 month old torrent
