Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華), who was suffering from acute pneumonia, has finally left the hospital to which he was admitted two weeks ago. In the early hours of February 12, Bobby was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai after he was seen falling into an unconscious state at his friend’s house party. Bobby was then diagnosed with acute pneumonia, which was caused by Bobby swallowing food too quickly down his windpipe. After four days in the ICU and another four in the acute comprehensive medical ward, Bobby was finally transferred out to a regular hospital room. On February 22 at 12:15 PM, Bobby, wearing a gray beanie and a black puffy jacket, exited Ruttonjee Hospital with wife, Rosanna Fu (傅潔嫻), and manager, Lydia. Upon seeing the press waiting for him down the hall, Bobby clasped his hands together and bowed apologetically. Looking energetic and bubbly, Bobby thanked his family and friends. In a raspy voice, Bobby said, “My health has recovered to about 80 to 90 percent. This has been a hard time for my wife. She is so much skinnier now. It pains me!” Bobby then hugged both his wife and manager. Rosanna cried tears of happiness. What does Bobby plan to do once he leaves the hospital? Bobby exclaimed that he will quickly return home to visit his pet dog, as he knows that his dog will miss him a lot. As a result from Bobby’s hospitalization, filming for the TVB period drama, Love Reserves Three Lifetimes of Fate <情逆三世緣>, had to be postponed. Bobby apologized to the cast and crew and expressed that he will return to work in March 2013. “I still have many war scenes left to film, and I hope my body will be prepared for the challenges by then.” Bobby insisted that his pneumonia was not caused by drinking.
