Hospitalized for acute pneumonia since Monday night, Bobby Au Yeung’s (歐陽震華) condition has been stabilized. After doctors examined his progress and due to lack of bed space, Bobby has been transferred from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to the acute comprehensive medical ward section at Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai. Bobby is already beginning to feel the boredom and has been watching television to pass the time when wife Rosanna Fu (傅潔嫻) and manager Lydia are not visiting him. Frequenting the hospital in the morning and afternoon each day, Rosanna brought magazines for Bobby to read after he regained alertness. Bobby’s sudden hospitalization after swallowing food too quickly down his windpipe scared his family and friends. Bobby had already shown signs of exertion and experienced chest pains while filming Love Reverses Three Lifetimes of Fate <情逆三世緣>. Feng shui masters commented that Bobby’s incident was fated and hopefully his hospitalization will help the 52-year-old thwart a greater hazard. Rosanna’s spirits were visibly elevated after Bobby’s condition showed signs of stabilization since yesterday. Nevertheless, the couple celebrated Valentine’s Day inside a hospital room last night. Since Bobby’s condition was under careful monitoring inside the ICU earlier, many friends did not visit him at the hospital for fear of disturbing him. After getting off his IV drip, Bobby’s appetite returned and he has been drinking his wife’s homemade soups and Nancy Sit’s (薛家燕) basket of fruit.
