Since announcing his breakup with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) has not been in Hong Kong. Bosco was busy filming The Woman Above the Bread Tree <麵包樹上的女人> in Taiwan and Japan. Finally returning to Hong Kong, Bosco looked evidently haggard and slimmer. Away from Hong Kong for more than one month, Bosco was able to avoid questions regarding his controversial breakup with Myolie. Due to his return to film new TVB drama, A Good Heart Goes Haywire <好心作怪>, Bosco could no longer dodge reporters’ questions. Loses Weight Due to Exercise? Bosco was asked regarding his significant weight loss. It was previously reported that he had lost 20 pounds because he was depressed from breaking up with Myolie. He replied, “That’s a bit of an exaggeration! I have already gained back some weight. I have always been keeping fit.” He emphasized that his weight fluctuates due to exercise. Pressed as to whether Bosco was doing exercise to forget the painful heart break, Bosco replied that he exercised for health purposes. He hoped to focus on his career at this time. Asked whether he lost appetite because he was depressed from splitting with Myolie, Bosco grasped his hands together and only responded with a simple, ‘Thank you.” Still Friends with Myolie Asked whether he wished to reconcile with Myolie, Bosco responded, “We will see later. I’m not afraid to see Myolie. It won’t be awkward as we are still friends.” Bosco said that reconciliation will be determined by fate. Bosco disclosed that he had more time to rest while filming in Japan. Asked if this gave him opportunity to contemplate on his relationship with Myolie, he reiterated, “I’m just focusing on my work. Thinking of how to act in the drama!” Congratulates Myolie on Apartment Purchase When asked regarding Myolie’s new apartment purchase in order to move away from Bosco, he was clearly unhappy with the situation and said, “Well then, congratulations to Myolie for the purchase. From what I know, she has not moved yet. I have not run into her, but we have exchanged text messages.” Bosco added, “If we were to collaborate again, it would not be an issue. Even if we have to play a couple in the drama, I would be okay with it. We’re both professionals.” Supports Kenneth Ma for TV King With the news that TVB may use a voting system for the Anniversary awards this year, Bosco was asked if he had confidence to win this year based on his well received drama series, Witness Insecurity <護花危情>. He replied, “I personally feel that Kenneth Ma’s (馬國明) chances are higher. Kenneth acted well in his series, The Hippocratic Crash <On Call36小時>, which also garnered high ratings.” Watch Bosco’s Televised Interview Creds: Apple Daily
It's sad to see a couple of 8 years broken up. I do wish that they'll get back together, but it's all up to them and a little fate.
