The second OST for Boys Over Flowered will be unveiled to the public in early march.

OST Volume 2 of the popular drama, ‘Boys Over Flower’, will be released in early march.

Many songs that were released as the OST for ‘Boys Over Flower’, like “Because I am Stupid’ (SS501), ‘Paradise’ (T-Max), ‘Stand by Me’ (Shinee), and ‘Lucky’ (Ashley), became big hits. The songs were so popular that they were either in the top 10 in various music sites or competing against SNSD’s ‘Gee’ for the number one spot, like SS501’s ‘Because I am Stupid’.

Amidst of this, it has been announced that there will be a ‘Boys Before Flower OST Vol.2’ coming out in early March. In the second volume, artists like SS501, Kara, etc will take parts in making the OST. The acoustic version of ‘Because I am Stupid’ by Kim Hyun Joong will also be included in the album and it is gaining a lot of attention.

On the other hand, because of Goo Hye Sun’s injuries, ‘Boys Over Flower’ will be cancelled on the 2nd of March. On this day, a F4 talk show will be aired, instead. Goo Hye Sun is currently getting treated at a hospital because of an accident she had on the 27th of February.

KBC May Mete Out Punishments to Boys Before Flower

As the hit-drama KBS2TV “Boys Before Flowers” moved to a new high last week with over 30% viewership, a trouble awaits as the Korean Broadcasting Commission (KBC) is contemplating on giving out punishments to the KBS/production team of the drama for it’s controversial contents.

According to the announcement by KBC, they had received a total of 201 complain letters from viewers in January, out of which, 21 letters were targeted at “Boys Before Flowers”. Many Korean viewers raised concern over the inappropriate contents such as bullying, school violence, sexual harassment and rich-poor gap etc shown in the drama.

As such, the commission is summoning the production team to give an explanation on the 3rd March before deciding whether to give out punishments.

The person-in-charge of the commission said: “There is a high chance that ‘Boys Before Flowers’ will receive punishments but we would like to first listen to the explanations from the production team.”

Hope nothing serious goes on here. It will be a disaster if they stop the broadcast, though probability of this happening is close to zero percent.

And a sidenote here, there will only be one episode on “Boys Before Flowers” this week as Goo Hye Sun has met with an accident. A “Boys Before Flowers” talkshow special will be broadcast on Tuesday instead.
