So, who's happy for Brawn? It sucks for Rubens. Being the #2 driver and giving up wins to Schumacher. All those pathetic years at BAR Honda. Finally that he gets a chance to be Champ, a series of unfortunate events makes him settle for runner up. Button is good, but what an arrogant man. He deserves the championship but this comments lately has been quite cocky. Congrats to Ross Brawn.
Im happy for Brawn... i love those Brawn-Schumacher eras... This is a weird year tho.. Lewis doing so bad same for raikonen, and Button at the top? haha
hey Button deserves it after all he's been through, what with all that stick about him previously not fulfilling his potential, contractual disputes including buying out his Williams contract for $30m etc. But i do agree that Barrichello would also be a deserving champion had he not been so unlucky. It was interesting to read that he travelled from race to race on his own buck during the season.
button was quite good at the start but after the turkey gp he's only been able to reach top 3 once. next season he might not be so lucky, especially with an alonso moving to ferrari. well i do hope brawn will win next time but with rubens.
hmmm... i'm not sure whether this is the right sub-section for this thread cos it is about cars but it's more of a sport rele. anyway about this yea i feel that button deserved it but would have been good if rubens won. infact both would have been deserving champions. i have to admit i thought that button had lost it after qualifying 15th in the last race but he managed to pull it out of the bag and his form in the previous races have not rele been that great. but this is what happens if u get a big enough lead from the start whereas rubens started getting quicker towards the end of season at which time it was a bit too late i guess.
