This is just in. Members of Chronic Dev Team have confirmed that SHAtter based GreenPois0n jailbreak for all iOS based devices is finally dropping on 10th October 2010 at 10:10:10AM GMT. According to them, the said tool is done and is ready to release on the mentioned date and time. UPDATE 2: MuscleNerd has confirmed that SHAtter exploit and GreenPois0n tool are only for the fourth-gen A4 devices like iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G, and iPad. It is not going to work on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 3G. Limera1n works for itouch 3gs, but.. i read "To be honest, if I were you, I would stay away from LimeRa1n, at least for the time being" Anyone gonna use Limera1n?
He'll yea when I get home it should work for the 4 gens but mixed for 3g's so greenpoison is going to be delayed now to implant geo's exploit meaning there could be a quick jail break for the next gens since they won't be burning 2 exploits at once

So.... should i jailbreak my itouch 3gs? Or just wait for a trustable/more reliable one? Since i'm not in a rush for jailbreaking my itouch anyways I've upgraded to 4.1 for about a long time now.. & i live fine without jailbreak in those days
It's ur call but I'd do it when I get back , and with the unlocked phones just make sure u preserve ur baseband with the tiny umbrella trick otherwise if u update to 4.1 you'll be locked A friend of mine just did it with the 4g touch, worked flawlessly
