i was wondering if connecting a cable modem into a surge protector would be a good idea? would it also kill the bandwidth or signal??

  4. aint nothing gone change unless u might want to risk ur cable modem short circuiting come thunder storm if u dont surge protector yo stuff.

  5. wont make a single difference.

the only thing you may get out of it is when a surge does occur, you save yourself the modem. but if it's a rental from your ISP, they should be able to provide you with a new one.

Aside from that, not a single difference.
