Like these ESPECIALLY THIS ONE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDJKRVUgM4k#movie_player Yeah theres some examples. I know there will be ALOT ALOT ALOT of editing (which program should I use)? But the camera is the key right? I dont mind spending much money..but dont go toooo overrpriced because i said that hahah . Also, I KNOW NOTHING about CAMERAS NOTHING... any tips would help. THANKS!!!!!!!
that's a camera... not a video camera back to the point, i don't know of which vid recorder that would help, but most new ones would be fine with hd video at the end of the day, you just need to set up the place for the recording (ensure sufficient lighting etc) any of the more "pro" series camcorder will set u back in the 2.5k range worth it if that's what you're into =)
The Canon 5D MKII is more then capable of video recording at professional levels. Most of the "niceness" that you see is all about the lens, video definition and frame rate. The 5D MK II is a reasonably priced camera that will let you take high IQ photos and videos. They shot the season finale of House with it before. BMW also shot a TV ad for their new M3 using 5D MK II. Some of the scenes from the new Captain America movie was shot with the 5D MK II. The colors you see where they look a bit hipster is just a white balance effect and vignetting. A lot of the depth of field shots where the background is really blurred is just the aperture of the lens it was set at. This was shot on the 5D MK II - http://player.vimeo.com/video/27919134 as an example. I only know about DSLR cameras but if you're looking at a pro video camera that shoots the same if not better then the 5D MK II (with interchangeable lenses), they tend to run in the 5 figures range from what I understand such as - http://www.red.com/store
Majority of the DSLR can film video, just that it could have limits. Main question would be how much you willing to spend? Nikon D7000 and Canon T3i both have video recording but lens do make a difference.
j reyes anyways spend like a couple of thousands on a camera and get someone who can actually use it and your good!
yes dslr's can shoot pretty decent video these days. but there are limitations and if ur just shooting video then a dedicated camcorder would be better. u don't need those big camcorders to do great video. the canon hf s10 or s20 shoot really good video and they don't cost 2.5k. u can even go for something a little more lower end and the video quality can be spectacular. just depends on what type of video ur trying to shoot and the conditions u would like to shoot it in.
