my cousin asked me to find an English name for him. he said he wants an English that sounds like his chinese name. but i can't find an English name with similar sound like his name.

his Chinese 名(the English first name) is 子恩, in mandarin, it's zi en, written in English would be Zien. but in English pronunciation is either "Zeen" or "Z-I-en". which is kinda awkward. he said just use the 恩 is ok, but does En look like a name to you? if there is no English name with similar sound, what du think it would be the best name for this Chinese name? thanks

Why does an english name have to sound like your chinese name? Just go pick out an English name.

How about Jan, which is a variant (Slavic origin) of John? It sounds almost exactly like 子恩 when spoken?
