... i've just had one that cured, which toke like 3 weeks, and then right after my feast(s) for the last few days, i got like 4-5 new ones, anyone know what are the causes of these, or possible prevention? (since there itsn't really any solid causes) also, what are the best "rememdies" to reduce this aching pain throughout my entire mouth? -dead oo, and i have braces, so that might be an issue, but i only heard that it only gets worsen when they tighten the braces, which i havnt done in a while
A canker sore is a painful, open sore in the mouth, which is white or yellow and surrounded by a bright red area. A canker sore is benign (not cancer).
i used to get kinda often when i was lil... but now i get the once every couple of yrs... n they usually disappear within a day kekekeke... lucky me i guess... i dunno how to make them go away faster... something to ask my doctor next time i visit him
Maybe you can check against the list down below. Canker sores are a common form of mouth ulcer. They occur in women more often than men. They may occur at any age, but usually first appear between the ages of 10 and 40. Canker sores usually appear on the inner surface of the cheeks and lips, tongue, soft palate, and the base of the gums. Canker sores can run in families. They may also be linked to problems with the body's immune (defense) system. The sores may occur after a mouth injury due to dental work, aggressive tooth cleaning, or biting the tongue or cheek. Canker sores can be triggered by emotional stress, dietary deficiencies (especially iron, folic acid, or Vitamin B-12), menstrual periods, hormonal changes, food allergies, and similar situations. They occur most commonly with viral infections. In some cases, the cause can not be identified.
I always bite my cheeks after I get my braces tightened. If you go to the pharmacy there should be some ointments that are thick and somewhat oily. Just put a layer of it on your sore before you go to bed. You'll see a significant difference in the morning. I forgot what the brand was called though...
wow canker sores....never heard of them..thought you meant cold sores at first...-lol.... so canker sores like chiew cup bad mouth ulcers..??... ermm....dun eat...'yeet hai' foods an errrr eat more ice cream to keep it cool...
what are hydrogen peroxide and milk magnesia? O_O everything else seems like it's worth a try, i got several canker sores throughout my mouth, i wake up and it's painful O_O can't even talk correctly. rawrawrwar, yeah cank sores are like.. cold sores but in your mouth, and because your mouth is more sensitive and it be agitated more often with food or drinks, and the burning sensation is a whole new level of pain!
Well... basically they just want you to clean your mouth out of bacteria, use mouth wash before going to bed. And the salt thing mentioned earlier does help the healing process a bit, but it hurts. If it hurts to eat, use a salt water solution to rinse before eating, it'll numb the pain for a while and this is just an asian thing but my mom tells me the source of canker sores is like, junk and fried foods. so maybe stay away from those. And drink plenty of water or tea, flush anything bad out of your system
I put salt on them .. but it stings .. so if you can't handle the pain then don't do it .. but it feels a lot better after ^-^
to see what it is causing the canker sores in your mouth, take a smear, do a diff quick, gram stain and a pap stain
If it hurts, rinse it out with Listerine it has some sort of antiseptic or w/e that will relieve the pain for a good 30 minutes. Also have hot tea with honey and ginger they help relieve pain and will kill some of the bacteria in your mouth to allow your body to recover faster.
i have that quite often.... it sucks... but u can go to a pharmacy and ask for some ointment u can put on it if u wanna prevent... then get enough sleep... eat healthy things... no fried stuff...or else u get "yeet hay"
