Canon, Toshiba to delay SED new flat TV launch

    I thought that with the introduction of SED Flat TV, we as consumers have even more choice. But it looks like it is still: Plasma or LCD -unsure

    the next big thing are these and OLED Tv's with 1 million + contrast ratios... kinda makes me regret buying my LCD tv

    OLED has superior contrast, but I don't think that their refreshing time is worth mentioning ...

    well the sooner more competition comes out, the sooner i can buy cheaper lcd =D

    tho if i was paid a lot more, i'd get all the new stuff hahaha

    The SED should have the advantages of Plasma and LCD combined, but due to patent problems, Canon was forced to buy out Toshiba. But apparently, that was not enough for the patent holder. Now this greedy stakeholder gets nothing per sold unit. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID and a big loss in consumer choice :(
