Can't Play Music

i recently installed some codec fing for winavi because wen i convert psp videos it wont come out sounds
and i think its some codec fing that made my pc not being able to play music...and wen i found out this codec fing was messing up other programs e.g. windows media player etc..
i unstalled it and now as i wanna play music on the pc it tells me i either need a newer version of the
program or i need to install some codec fing...
does anyone knows wots going on and how i can fix it???-huh

is that the only way to fix it?

 

just reinstall windows media player or get k-lite codec pack and u should be able to play ur music files. i just use media player classic usually with k-lite codec pack, it plays pretty much every file there is.

 

yea i re installed all the programs that i could use to listen to music and yet non works...

 

turn up the volume!!!

 

thats strange, if u uninstalled the codecs and reinstalled then it should def work.

 

i uninstalled every single program and re installed it and it end up working now...
its just now that i cant convert psp videos cos i need some next codec fing...

 

oh at least u got it working, i told u there was no need to reinstall the op system. just install the winavi psp converter and u should be able to convert ur videos to psp.

 

yea i try that later on and hopefully it works....

well..you can try the latest newest "COLE2K MEDIA CODEC PACK"..recently out this year..it contains really everything..but its heavy though..see my SIGNATURE "NEW CODECS+PROG" for ddl..
or you can just pick "Windows Media Codec pack" from the list..it suppose too update your Windows Media Player codecs good luck, yuyu

k-lite codec works fine for me. it plays all files that i have and media player classic don't take up much ram on comp so that what i would recommend.

 

i used too (long long time ago) use k-lite code pack too..but my comp crashed couple months ago..so i installed everything with also again the latest k-lite codec pack from download.com..but this new version k-lite codec pack contains annoying adds..and somehow i still missed some codecs?? so recently im using cole2k media codec pack from which ive never heard before though, but who cares..it works ps. also from download.com -lol ps..my list contains also other progs..almost everything is from download.com recently out this year, gotta check it might be usefull

 

oh i don't have the newest version of k-lite codec pack so there are no ads for me and as they say if theres nothing wrong with it don't change it. so prob won't use cole2k media codec pack unless something goes wrong with my k-lite codec pack. nice info thought.

 

np just sharing thoughts ;] and i would love too have your old k-lite codec pack -lol when mine crashes again (knock knock, you never know)..

 

lawl.. is your sounds muted? or is your speaker even plugged in? xD
